Preliminary Assessment of Russian Companies Business Reliability Rating

Investors, suppliers, banks, investors and other companies can receive preliminary assessment of the KRIONI©Index of business reliability for Russian companies (KIBR) – their future or acting buyers, clients and partners. The formatting of the assessment is based on the analysis of the data collected from different open sources, specialized agencies, the KRIONI database with visiting companies and establishing contacts with them.

The methods of performing analysis of a company's Business Reliability ranking is oriented to a maximum coverage of various financial and non-financial aspects of its activity on the basis of available information. The assessment also includes an evaluation of industry risks and risks related to the country and the region.  The assessment is performed in accordance with the Alex standard procedures, which have been specially developed by the investigators.

Results of Business Reliability rating assessment which are transformed to the clients:

• A short commentary on the factors of Business Reliability risk, linked to the company under consideration, the type of its activity and branch in general (pp. 1-2);
• A set of nonofficial information about a company under consideration: (Name and type of incorporation; Date of registration; Statistical codes; Share capital; Type of activity; Address; Company management; Founders; Branches and shareholding in other companies; Registered trademarks; Memorandum and articles of association; Current Appointments Report; Latest accounts; Profit and loss account; Financial analysis; Office address and directions; Office pictures; Information about office proprietor; Directors; Accountant; Telephone and fax numbers of the secretary; Number of employees; Bank details; Certificates and licenses; Company seal picture; Participation in arbitrage; Bankruptcy; Press monitoring; List of clients and suppliers; Company capital etc.); The results of such assessment allow the users to better know a company under consideration, to assess in advance perspectives of its development and its ability to carry a Business Reliability burden.  After agreement with the client, the results of assessment may be presented in Russian, French or English.

A	The stability raises no doubts. Default risk level is minima.
B +	High degree of business reliability whose change may be attributed only to random external factors and emergency situations. Default risk level is very low.

C +	Company’s, whose business reliability is predominantly stable, but there is sensitivity to the business environment. For medium business the business reliability is higher than the average level, for small business – very good.  Default risk level is low.
C
C -
D +	For company some indicators are lower than the average, but still do not cause concern. Default risk level is lower than the average.
D	The business reliability is noticeably lowered. Default risk level is average or a little lower.
D -	There are problems. Unless they are solved, this can lead to a deterioration of the capacity to meet the obligations. Default risk level is about average.
E +	Business reliability is problematic. Default risk level is above average, but is still acceptable in some cases.
E	Business reliability is in trouble, but there is still potential for improvement. Default risk level is increased.
E -	Business reliability is very bad and near critical or on the verge of default. Any obligations are associated with a very high risk of default.
